Terms of Service

The rules for using MP3toSheet: accounts, credits, your uploads, and our responsibilities.

最終更新日: 2026-11-03

These terms apply when you use MP3toSheet at mp3tosheet.com ("the service", "we"). By creating an account or buying credits you agree to them. Questions: [email protected].

1. The service

MP3toSheet turns a recording of a song into music notation. You upload an audio or video file, choose the part to write out, and get sheet music with playback, PDF, MIDI and MusicXML files, and beginner notation such as letter notes, kalimba tabs and recorder notes.

2. Your account

You need an account to transcribe songs. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.

3. Credits and payments

  • One credit transcribes one full song of up to 10 minutes.
  • You can preview the first 30 seconds of any song for free before you use a credit.
  • Credits are sold in packs for a one-time payment. Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing page. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
  • Credits never expire. They belong to your account and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. Purchased credits are not refundable; the exceptions are listed in our refund policy.
  • Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io), our merchant of record. Creem may add sales tax or VAT where it applies and sends your receipt.
  • If a transcription fails, the credit is returned to your account automatically.

4. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

5. Your uploads

  • Only upload files you own or have permission to use.
  • You keep all rights to your uploads. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service to you.
  • We delete uploaded audio and video files within 30 days, as described in our privacy policy.

6. Your results

  • Transcriptions are made automatically. They are usually close, but they can contain wrong or missing notes, especially for recordings with many instruments. Check a result by listening to it before you rely on it.
  • You may use your results for your own practice, teaching and study.
  • Songs are often protected by copyright, and a transcription of a song does not give you the rights to the song itself. You are responsible for how you use and share sheet music of songs you did not write.

7. Acceptable use

Do not:

  • upload content that is illegal or that you have no right to use;
  • try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, including automated or bulk use without our permission;
  • resell the service or access it on behalf of others for a fee;
  • use the service to harm or harass anyone.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules. If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund your unused credits.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve or change features over time. If we ever stop offering the service, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund unused credits.

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited by contract.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected].

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell signed-in users on the site before it takes effect.
