What MP3toSheet collects, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.
最終更新日: 2026-11-03
This policy explains what MP3toSheet (mp3tosheet.com, "we") collects when you use the service, what we do with it, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].
What we collect
Your account. Your email address, your name, and your password, which we store only as a secure hash. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
The files you upload. The audio or video file you send for transcription, and the settings you choose (for example, the instrument).
Your results. The sheet music, MIDI, MusicXML, PDF and beginner notation we create from your upload.
Purchases. When you buy credits, our payment provider Creem tells us the product, the amount, the currency and the email address of the order. Creem processes your card or other payment details; we never see or store them.
Technical data. Your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, as part of normal server logs. We use them to keep the service secure, to limit abuse, and to fix errors.
How we use it
- To create your transcriptions and show them to you.
- To run your account, sign you in, and keep track of your credits and orders.
- To answer your support requests.
- To send emails the service needs, such as email verification and password resets. We do not send marketing email.
- To protect the service against fraud and abuse.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your uploads or results to train machine learning models.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded audio and video files are deleted automatically within 30 days after upload.
- Results stay in your account so you can come back to them, until you delete them or your account.
- Account and order records are kept while your account exists. Order records may be kept longer where tax and accounting law requires it.
- Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
Who processes data for us
We use a small number of service providers, each only for the job described:
- Cloudflare delivers the website, protects it against attacks, and stores files.
- Creem (creem.io) processes payments as our merchant of record and handles sales tax and invoices.
- Google signs you in, only if you choose "Sign in with Google".
- An email delivery provider sends account emails such as verification and password reset messages.
Transcription itself runs on our own servers; your files are not sent to a third-party transcription service.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the service needs: one that keeps you signed in, and one that remembers your language. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to send you a copy, or to delete it and your account. Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
MP3toSheet is used by many music learners, including young ones. If you are under 16, please use the service with a parent's or guardian's permission. Purchases must be made by an adult.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell signed-in users on the site before it takes effect.
